»Die Kinder von Golzow« A Book Presentation in Willy-Brandt-Haus Berlin

On 6 May 2004, in the Willy-Brandt-Haus in Berlin, the achievements of Barbara and Winfried Junge were highlighted in a book presentation titled Die Kinder von Golzow. Lebensläufe Bilder Dokumente Erinnerungen (The Children of Golzow Paths of Life, Photos, Documentation, Remembrances). Published by Dieter Wolf, the edition contains 300 photos and is a treasure for the film historian, the devotee of German cinema, and the cinéaste with a penchant for documentary portraits. Currently Barbara and Winfried Junge are working on the 19th edition of their Die Kinder von Golzow saga. The 43-year chronicle is the longest running documentary in the history of the cinema. Recently, a documentation exhibition was opened in the original first-grade classroom in the village of Golzow where the chronicle began back in 1961.
